We where all dressed up T___ in her black and purple and in a brill skirt (why had I not seen it first?) and me in my favourite black leather corset and make up that took me rather a while to do. We where all set for a night of fun with like minded people.

We could not wait to get out so we left early and decided to go to wetherspoons, we knew that we would not fit in but it was the start of the night we did not mind to much, after a quick drink there off to the rock night………………what a mistake that was.

We sat there for half an hour just us two and a few other very young peope, then they got up and left leaving us, how could we possibly leave now, we would be watched ike hawks and would feel soooo guilty if we left, so we waited and waited untill one person came in we knew, now I know this person is a bit offish but as I am me I offered him a seat next to us, K___ said ok.

We sat there agian trying to make converstion with K___ but it was quite hard as i dont think he really wanted to speak to us let alone sit with us but still we tried. Then a small group of people turned up and he was delighted and did not hide this fact by saying ‘thank F___ for that’ he got up, did not say anything to us, he just left and looked so pleasedthat he did not have to sit with us anymore. T___ and I looked at each other and if we had not have laughed I think we would have cried.

So we made are exit (only after the organiser had said that she was dissapointed and that next time will be better and inviting us back).

So what where we to do all dressed up in are goth/rock finery and looking for a good night out. I said ‘I know, we will go where S___ goes sometimes’ to see if he is there.

Little did we know that there was a country night on and as we walked in everybody seemed to turn and look at us, we made are way to the bar trying to ignore the fact that we stuck out like sore thumbs and ordered two vodka and cokes. The bar staff all in pink cowgirl hats where thinking why are they in here???

A) they cant read.

B) they dont know the meaning of  ‘country night’.

C) we were out for a brawl.

D) none of the above.

Well it was none of the above, we were quite tipsy and did not even think to read the notice board. The bar person had put ice in my drink and it was so cold I was thinking of leaving it there untill my friend T__ looked at me in horror. So we eventually left there to.

We stood out on the street again thinking what on earth are we going to do we cant waste the babysitter usage so again we thought where would S___ be? I know I said the Bradford (little did I know at the time that he no longer goes there) so off we go to the Bradford.

Again we entered to a few looks but we were getting to the stage of desperation as no S____ in sight, so we again ordered our drinks. We looked around to see if there was anyone there we knew and yippee a neighbour, yes a neighbour but this due to my tipsy state was brilliant (I think otherwise now) so we went and sat next to them pleased that finally we could mingle with another person. He persueded us to go on to the :-/ Kings, we agreed, yes omg we agreed. No offence to the people who may frequent the place it just is not my cup of tea. We stayed there for a bit, had a drink and a dance then we decided that there was no other option but to visit S____. We text him a number of times and had started to walk there and would not take no for a answer (not that he had answered either way) then we got a text of him saying he was not home, deflated we done the next best thing and went to order some garlic bread and walk slowly home consuming it.

The next day I felt terrible for texting S___ so many times and maybe annoying him somewhat. So I sent him a email of my sincere sorry’s.

Once again S_____ sorry.

Lets just hope we can go to where we want and mingle but it turned out to be a funny night anyway, one that I will not forget in a hurry. xxxxx

When we arrived at Corfu airport the sun was sweltering and I was sat on the hot bus on the way to Agios Georgios in light jacket which I thought would be ok but what a mistake that was, not only did I feel very hot the bus driver was a madman, the roads there are mostly the width of the bus and I spent the entire 45 minute treck thinking ‘we are gonna hit that house’ and ‘that car will not fit by us aswell’. All I can say that the bus driver although a madman he was very good at steering the bus on roads that are were surely not wide enought for a car let alone a bus full of hot grumpy brits!

When we arrived to our hotel we all just went to our rooms and flaked out on the beds and laid there letting the coolness of the room take away the stress of the day.

The people and the place is just sooooooo laid back (apart from when the locals enter a vehicle, it all changes), I must say that it was just the place to unwind because you cant help but just do it as there is not much else to do. I have no complaints at all about the area and would visit there again.

There was a first for me on holiday, I saw my Dad tipsy, never seen before in the time of history! it was his 62nd birthday and we ordered a cake for him to have with are evening meal, he was really pleased a kept repeating that he would never forget and getting quite tearfull but he did have a wonderfull time as did we all.

I will write some more about the hols soon but I have to go now

Only just to say really that I will be going away for two weeks and when I return I will hopefully have more time to write my blog and have something to start me off with.
